·	Chassis: Team Target is trying their luck with chassis #114 in
Vegas.  This car competed in Atlanta last season.
·	Casey Mears and Jamie McMurray are the first teammate rookies to
compete for Raybestos Rookie of the Year honors.
·	Mears became the first rookie to lead a lap and the only rookie to
lead a lap in the Daytona 500.


CASEY MEARS QUOTES:

"Testing at Vegas went real good.  We did some race runs we were real happy
with.  Also, in qualifying trim we felt pretty decent.  All around I feel
good going back.  We qualified third there last year in the Busch car and we
had some good runs in the Cup test so I feel confident that we can do well
going back."  

"Las Vegas is probably one of the smoother tracks we go to.  It doesn't have
a whole lot of banking.  Getting off of turn two tightens up pretty good
because the backstretch is straight and you come off of the tri-oval in the
front stretch.  Coming off of turn three opens up quite a bit so you can
carry a lot more speed than what you think.  It's fairly one grooved but as
the race goes on it becomes two-grooved."

"I don't gamble that much but I'll probably play blackjack or roulette.  I
like roulette because you can put it on black or red and it's a 50/50
chance."
