JAGUAR EXPANDS TRANS-AM SERIES INVOLVEMENT

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. ‹ Jaguar North America has expanded its sponsorship
with the Trans-Am Series for the BFGoodrich Tires Cup for the 2003 season.
For the third-straight year, Jaguar will continue as a contingency sponsor,
as well as presenting the ³Pole Award² program. In addition, Jaguar will
recognize the driver contributing the most points for Jaguar in the coveted
Manufacturers¹ Championship with the new ³R Performance Award.² Jaguar will
also provide an all-wheel-drive 3.0 X-Type as the ³Official Safety Car² for
the Trans-Am Series.

Through its Contingency Award, Jaguar drivers will earn a $5,000 bonus for a
victory, a $3,000 award for a second-place finish and $2,000 for a
third-place finish.

The Jaguar Pole Award is a performance-based initiative that rewards drivers
who win the pole at each of the Trans-Am Series¹ 11 events this season.
Polesitters will receive a key‹regardless of what type of car they
race‹which, at the culmination of the season, they will use to attempt to
open the door to a 2004 Jaguar XK8, during a formal ceremony. The driver
whose key opens the vehicle will win a one-year lease on the car.

A new element to this year¹s program, the Jaguar R Award, will reward the
Jaguar driver who contributes the most points for Jaguar in the
Manufacturers¹ Championship. That driver will earn a one-year lease on an
XK8. Should the same driver win both awards, Jaguar will present the winner
with a two-year lease on an XKR, Jaguar¹s marquee grand touring car.

"Jaguar has a rich racing heritage, and sports car racing in North America
features prominently in that history‹including past race wins and
championships in the Trans-Am Series,² said George Ayres, vice-president of
marketing, Jaguar North America. ³Our support of the 2003 series, including
the Jaguar Contingency Award, the Jaguar Pole Award and the Jaguar
R-Performance Award, are intended to thank the drivers and teams who are
continuing the tradition of Jaguar competition success."

The Trans-Am Series for the BFGoodrich Tires Cup features closed-fendered,
production-based, V-8-powered sports cars. The Trans-Am Series is America¹s
oldest continuously running sports car racing series and celebrates its 38th
anniversary in 2003.
