Holiday RV Announces Nasdaq Delisting
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Feb. 20 -- Holiday RV Superstores, Inc. announced today that the Company received a letter from the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel stating that the Company's common stock will be delisted from the Nasdaq SmallCap Market effective with the open of business on Friday, February 21, 2003. In addition, the Company's common stock will not be immediately eligible to trade on the OTC Bulletin Board because the Company is not current in all of its periodic reporting requirements under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended. As previously announced, the Company is late in filing its form 10- K. The delisting of the Company's common stock from Nasdaq SmallCap Market may adversely affect the liquidity of the Company's common stock. The Company expects that its common stock will be quoted on the "pink sheets," whereupon trading in the Company's common stock would be subject to certain rules and regulations promulgated under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, which impose additional sales practice requirements on broker-dealers. The additional burdens imposed upon broker-dealers by such requirements may discourage broker-dealers from effecting transactions in the common stock, which could severely limit the market liquidity of the common stock.
