Infineon Raceway Names New
Manager, Vendor Displays and Special Events
 
SONOMA,  Calif. (IMMEDIATE RELEASE) ¯ John Wong has been named Manager, Vendor Displays and Special Events, at Infineon Raceway, it was announced by raceway officials.
 
Wong, 26, will be responsible for building vendor display business at Infineon Raceway¢s major events during the season, as well as event-day execution of marketing programs and trade shows.
 
"We're thrilled to have John on our team. His sales experience and event execution capabilities will contribute greatly to our team achieving the aggressive business objectives we've set for the 2003 season,* said Tim Schuldt, vice president of marketing and sales at Infineon Raceway.
 
Prior to coming to Infineon Raceway, Wong worked for six seasons with Major League Baseball¢s Oakland Athletics as an Area Sales Manager.  His duties there included managing groups and group sales for the Oakland Coliseum, and executing events including *Asian Community Night* and *The A¢s Battle Asthma.*

Wong, a Montana native, received his undergraduate degree in Marketing from the University of San Francisco.  He currently resides in San Francisco.
