season at Bristol.
·	Mears has competed in two Busch Series races at The Rock. He got
into an accident in the first race and finished 18th in the second race.
·	Mears became the first rookie to lead a lap and the only rookie to
lead a lap in the Daytona 500 last weekend.

CASEY MEARS QUOTES:

"The last time I was at Rockingham I was testing the Winston Cup car. I
thought it went pretty good and I learned a lot about how to drive the Cup
car around there. There wasn't many of us there but out of the ones that
did qualifying runs we were the quickest. The car we tested there was the
best handling car I've ever had there so I'm really looking forward to it."

"It feels good to be going to a track where the driver has more influence.
You're not going to loose the draft at Rockingham and not be able to catch
back up."

"Considering how long Daytona is and how drawn out it is, our guys really
came together well and worked together well during the first event of the
season. When we wrecked our primary car in Happy Hour and had to go to a
backup car the guys changed it over and got it ready for the race in no
time. They did an excellent job and gave me a good car for the race. We
just needed more laps and less rain."
