Navistar International Corporation Names Hough Vice President, Strategic Initiatives; Endsley Named Vice President and Treasurer
WARRENVILLE, Ill.--Feb. 20, 2003--Terry M. Endsley has been named vice president and treasurer of both Navistar International Corporation and its operating company, International Truck and Engine Corporation, producer of International(R) brand trucks, buses and engines, it was announced today.Endsley, 47, succeeds Thomas M. Hough, 57, who was named to the newly created position of vice president strategic initiatives. Both will report directly to Robert C. Lannert, vice chairman and chief financial officer.
"These moves are being made to further position the company for growth." Lannert said. "Tom's primary responsibility in this new position will be to develop financial strategies and plans that will support the growth of the company's current businesses as well as business opportunities in both current and new markets," Lannert explained.
Hough had been vice president and treasurer of Navistar and its operating company since October 1992. Previously he was assistant treasurer and also served as controller of the company's finance group. He joined the company in 1980 after 12 years with Deloitte & Touche.
Endsley had been assistant treasurer of Navistar International Corporation since 1997. Before assuming the role of assistant treasurer, Endsley had been director, pension and investments. He joined the company in 1977.
