Exide Technologies Enhances Product Line at Sam's Clubs
PRINCETON, N.J., Feb. 20 -- Exide Technologies (BULLETIN BOARD: EXDTQ) (www.exide.com ), a global leader in stored electrical energy solutions, has begun to supply Sam's Club stores with Champion(R) branded automotive and Stowaway(R) branded marine XLT (extended life technology) batteries.
Sam's Club is the nation's leading members-only warehouse. Sam's offers its 46 million members exceptional value on name-brand merchandise for both business and personal use at "members only" prices. Sam's Club has been an Exide Technologies customer since 1983. Exide is a sole source battery supplier to all 525 Sam's Clubs in the United States, Mexico and Puerto Rico. The advanced technology in the XLT batteries features a highly efficient design of spiral-wound plates and absorbed glass mat lead-acid chemistry.
