Strategy Analytics Growth Spurs Appointment of Three Senior Analysts; Broadband, RF and Automotive Technology Experts Join Strategy Analytics

Christopher Taylor joins as Director of the Strategy Analytics RF Components Strategies (RFCS) Service. Mr. Taylor is responsible for managing RF component activities within the Strategic Technologies Practice. His experience includes 15 years in the semiconductor industry working for companies that make electronic materials and digital and RF components. Prior to this, Mr. Taylor was a Product Marketing Manager at M/A-COM, where he defined and launched new integrated circuits for wireless systems. Before this he was employed by BIS Mackintosh, where he managed the U.S. activities of the Gallium Arsenide and High Speed IC Program.
Mr. Taylor holds an MBA degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management, an M.S. in Physics from Ohio State University, and a B.S. in Physics for Pennsylvania State University.
James Penhune serves as Director of the Strategy Analytics Global Broadband Practice. His responsibilities include planning and executing research into the emerging broadband entertainment and digital consumer device value chain, as well as supporting Strategy Analytics' rapidly growing base of North American Strategic Advisory Service clients.
Before joining Strategy Analytics, Mr. Penhune spent five years as an analyst with the Yankee Group's Consumer Communications and Media & Entertainment Strategies practices. He began his career reporting on the consumer electronics market for Home Furnishings Daily, a national trade publication. Since then, as a journalist and researcher, he has covered consumer marketing issues in the electronics, communications and computing industries. Prior to joining the Yankee Group, Mr. Penhune served as an analyst in interactive technologies for BIS Strategic Decisions and as a research associate for Softletter, a national newsletter devoted to marketing issues in the PC software business. He holds a B.A. from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.
Mark Fitzgerald has joined Strategy Analytics as Senior Industry Analyst, Automotive Electronics & Telematics Practice. Mr. Fitzgerald is responsible for managing inquiries and analytical research into the North American markets for Automotive Electronics (AES) and In-Vehicle Telematics and Multimedia (ITMS) Services. His eight years of experience includes research, forecasting and consulting for automotive electronics and sensor applications in powertrain control, passenger safety, vehicle stability, and passenger information systems.
Prior to this position he was a Marketing Analyst for Pollak Engineered Products, a Tier 1 supplier of electronic products to the automotive industry. He was responsible for performing and managing technology development analysis and competitive market analysis in the area of automotive electronics. Previously, Mr. Fitzgerald headed North American Automotive Forecast Database Operations for Standard & Poor's / DRI's Global Automotive Group. Fitzgerald holds a B.S. in Business Management from Providence College, Providence, RI.
