SMI Products, Inc., Announces Appointment of Merrill W. Moses to the Board

    SUGARLAND, Texas--Feb. 18, 2003--SMI Products, Inc. (OTCBB:SMIP) is pleased to announce that it has appointed Mr. Merrill W. Moses as a Director of the Company and has prepared the definitive agreements to finalize its planned merger with Nu Age Electric, Inc., a private Nevada corporation engaged in the marketing and sales of electric vehicles and products in North America.
    Nu Age has the exclusive rights for all NuPow'r Station dealerships in North America. The dealerships are licensed to perform sales and servicing of the electric vehicles and products.
