Daytona February 16, 2003; In a rain delay interview with a Pox-TV reporter, driver Dale Jarrett when asked how he feels about the possibility of the race ending after only 109 laps said that "they don't stop the Super bowl; so maybe we should change the rules to make sure that the Daytona 500, our most important race really is 500 miles...even if it takes two days. It’s not fair to the 200,000 fans here and the millions watching at home, to declare a winner who does not run 500 miles." Way to go Dale, the fans need a real total champ not a 100 lap wonder.
