NEW YORK, Feb. 13 -- Chrysler is setting new standards for
truck performance with the Viper-powered 2004 Dodge Ram SRT-10. With a maximum
speed of 150 mph and the capacity to reach 60 mph in approximately five
seconds, COO Wolfgang Bernhard notes "The Dodge Ram SRT-10 may be the first
halo truck, but trust me, this truck is no angel!"
Adhering to the high performance criterion of the original Dodge Viper:
simplicity and speed, Bernhard emphasizes "there is no replacement for
displacement."
Viper owners will readily recognize the Dodge Ram SRT-10's astounding
performance value.
"We set out to create the Viper of trucks, and we delivered," proclaims
Jim Schroer, Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. "Dodge
DNA runs true and deep."
