            MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Just in time to kickoff its 2003 season, the USAR Hooters ProCup Series will have a one hour special on SPEED Channel Thursday night February 20th at 11 pm eastern/8 pm pacific. 

The USAR Hooters ProCup Series Review Preview Show will highlight the 2002 USAR Hooters ProCup Series race season and feature highlights from the 2002 USAR Hooters ProCup Series Awards Banquet. The program will also feature interviews with 2002 National Champion Jason Sarvis, 1999-2001 National Champion Bobby Gill and 1999 Miller Lite Rookie of the Year Steven Christian.

            In addition to the driver interviews and banquet footage, the show will also feature an interview with USAR Director of Operations Tony Cox who will give fans a glimpse into what the 2003 season holds for the popular short track touring series.

            "We feel this one hour special will give USAR a chance to recognize the accomplishments of Jason Sarvis and all of our competitors in 2002 and also give the fans an idea of what to expect in 2003 from the USAR Hooters ProCup Series," said USAR President Gene Cox. "We appreciate Hallbrook Productions and SPEED Channel working together to present this special broadcast two days before our season begins at USA International Speedway."

            The 30-race 2003 season for the Series will begin with the running of the Naturally Fresh Foods 250 presented by Advance Discount Auto Parts on Saturday, February 22nd at USA International Speedway in Lakeland, Florida.
