Perot Systems Signs 10-Year, $22 Million IT Outsourcing Contract With Global Motorsport Group, Inc.



    PLANO, Texas, Feb. 11 -- Perot Systems Corporation
today announced the signing of a 10-year, $22 million complete
information technology outsourcing contract with Global Motorsport Group, Inc.
(GMG).  Under the terms of the contract, Perot Systems will manage the entire
IT function for GMG, inclusive of all software and hardware functions
worldwide.
    Global Motorsport Group is the largest independent supplier of aftermarket
parts and accessories for Harley-Davidson motorcycles, with significant market
share in the metric motorcycle aftermarket.  The company manufactures its own
products under the brand names RevTech, Santee, Motor Factory and HR3 Bike
Kits.  Global Motorsport Group markets and sells its products through wholly
owned business units which include Custom Chrome, Chrome Specialties, Santee,
Custom Chrome Europe, Custom Chrome Far East and Motorcycle Stuff.
    Perot Systems will provide comprehensive information technology services
to Global Motorsport and will oversee the management of an enterprise business
solution which supports financials, sales, warehousing, transportation,
shipping, planning and procurement functions.  The outsourcing agreement
follows a J.D. Edwards OneWorld ERP implementation led by Perot Systems
Solutions Consulting.  The majority of the work will take place at Global
Motorsport's headquarters in Morgan Hill, CA and Perot Systems' data center in
Plano, TX.
