SupplySolution Releases Version 4.7 of i-Supply(TM) Service, Adding Multi-Item Updating and Enterprise-Wide Part Aggregation

Release includes additional 'QuickView' upgrades

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Feb. 11 -- SupplySolution, Inc., the leading provider of supply chain execution applications for manufacturing, distribution, and supplier organizations, today announced the release of Version 4.7 of the i-Supply(TM) Service. The i-Supply Service is the industry-leading direct material fulfillment application currently in service at more than 2,000 manufacturing installations worldwide. The 4.7 release is now available to all of i-Supply's users.

i-Supply V4.7 features an upgraded, more intuitive log-in screen, greater functionality with multi-item mass updates, and an aggregation component for single part viewing across multiple facilities. Users will be able to view all locations, quantities, and sources of aggregated supply or demand for a single item number. Additionally, the i-Supply "QuickView" component, which is now available in multiple languages, contains additional filters to improve critical views of inventory status, history and enhancements to the in-bound shipments display thus improving shipping and receiving processes for material managers.

SupplySolution continues to release enhancements to the award-winning i- Supply Service. Version 4.7 is the second release to the Service since the start of the year. In January, users welcomed several new changes with Version 4.6.1 of the i-Supply Service. Last fall, SupplySolution executives made a commitment to customers to improve the service with performance enhancements and new features.

"i-Supply Version 4.7 is laying the foundation for a critical component of our platform development by incorporating J2EE architecture," noted Subash Bhatia, CTO at SupplySolution. "We believe this is a step forward in developing industry-sanctioned standards for supply chain applications."

"Our product development team has made these latest enhancements based upon the direct input of our customers. We continue to listen carefully to their requests and look to work with them and their user communities to fully advance the development of i-Supply," stated Michael Hennessey, vice president of product management and solution engineers for SupplySolution.

The i-Supply Service is a hosted application, and with the distributed architecture of the SupplySolution Global Infrastructure these upgrades are immediately available to all of i-Supply's users. SupplySolution has released 5 upgrades to its applications and infrastructure since September, 2002, all of which immediately went live globally, and none of which required a planned or unplanned interruption in service to any customers.
