Motion Industries Names Jim Clark Vice President and General Manager Mi Industrial and Hub Supply

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--Feb. 10, 2003--Motion Industries, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company has named Jim Clark vice president and general manager of Mi Industrial and Hub Supply, according to Motion Industries' president and CEO, Bill Stevens.
    Clark began his career with Motion Industries in 1973. He has served as general manager for Canadian operations as well as Southeast and Southwest divisions. Clark has also held regional and branch manager positions.
    Mi Industrial is a general industrial supply segment providing mill supplies, safety supplies, janitorial products, and hardware to industrial customers. Hub Supply primarily serves the industry with cutting tools and abrasives.
    With 2001 sales in excess of $2.2 billion, Motion Industries is the world's largest distributor of bearings; mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic power replacement parts; and hose products.
