Motion Industries Names Tom Robertshaw Senior Vice President-Sales

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala.--Feb. 10, 2003--Motion Industries, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company has named Tom Robertshaw senior vice president-sales, according to Bill Stevens, Motion Industries' president and CEO.
    Robertshaw joined the company in 1975. During his tenure he has served as senior vice president business development. He has also served the Southwest division as vice president and general manager, regional manager and branch manager. In his new position, Robertshaw will work with customer relationships and develop new markets. He will continue to lead Motion Industries' hose division and will also work closely with the corporate accounts group.
    With 2001 sales in excess of $2.2 billion, Motion Industries is the world's largest distributor of bearings; mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic power replacement parts; and hose products.
