Market Scan Information Systems Names Frank Ah Sue National Director Customer Support
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.--Feb. 10, 2003--Market Scan Information Systems, the leading provider of financing software solutions for automotive dealers, today announced the appointment of Frank Ah Sue as national director customer support. Mr. Ah Sue will be responsible for ensuring Market Scan customers make full use of their Profitcenter solutions and realize a maximum return on their investments. In his new role, Mr. Ah Sue will manage Market Scan's customer support team including two regional managers, 12 senior customer support managers, and 72 customer support managers who work in the field directly with customers. In addition, Mr. Ah Sue will be responsible for the 44-person field and inside technical support team as well as the 20-person integration team.

Among his first priorities, Mr. Ah Sue announced Market Scan's comprehensive closing program, A-B Pencil, which helps dealers identify and offer car-buyers lease/purchase options on every deal through Market Scan's solutions instantaneously. Included as part of Market Scan's New Vehicle or Used Vehicle Profitcenter modules, the A-B Pencil program combines the techniques of the Buzz Doering approach to leasing with the power of Market Scan's proprietary database of nearly 190,000 lease and finance programs and the aid of the Market Scan customer support teams. The A-B Pencil program helps dealers identify and offer lease and purchase options on every deal, ensuring their customers get the payments they want and the dealerships offer terms that maximize their profits -- all in about 15 seconds.

Mr. Ah Sue joined Market Scan in 1999 as a customer support manager, and has worked closely with Market Scan customers throughout his tenure with the company. Prior to joining Market Scan, Mr. Ah Sue worked for a variety of entertainment companies including Disney World. As a musician and performer, he developed a profound understanding of how customers internalize their needs and wants. He spent 12 years in the automotive dealership environment working as a sales consultant, closer, F&I manager, sales manager and general sales manager at franchises including Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Infiniti, and Saturn throughout Southern California. During his career, Mr. Ah Sue built successful sales teams and was a top producer for Toyota.
Mr. Ah Sue is a Varsity Scout leader with the Boy Scouts of America. He attended Brigham Young University in Hawaii where he studied business and entertainment.
