THE MOBILE AIR CONDITIONING SOCIETY (MACS) WORLDWIDE
PRESENTS FIRST CHARLES BRASWELL AWARD
(LANSDALE, PA) -February 7, 2003-The Mobile Air Conditioning Society
(MACS) Worldwide honored Jim Resutek with the first presentation of the
Charles Braswell Memorial Service Award, during its annual convention,
Reality Check 2003 at the New Orleans Marriott on Saturday, February 1,
2003. The Charles Braswell Award recognizes a member of MACS who has
shown outstanding service to the society and is named after past MACS
chairman, the late Charles Braswell.
Mr. Resutek, who holds an Engineering degree from the General Motors
Institute (Kettering University) and a Masters in Business
Administration from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, is currently
president of OTBConsultants of Romeo, MI and is a consulting engineer,
specializing in automotive air conditioning. For 31 years, Mr. Resutek
worked in engineering, manufacturing and service related leadership
positions with Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems, General Motors. His work
included significant contributions in the use of A/C service tools and
procedures and General Motor's ACR 2000 recovery equipment.
Mr. Resutek has been an active member of the MACS organization since
1990 and has served on the board of directors as chairman since 2000.
This year, Resutek will serve on the MACS board as past chairman.
