Lucas Oil Climbs Into The Freak Nation
As SpeedFreaks Official Lube
Hollywood, CA (February 7, 2003) - America's number one motorsports radio show just got a whole lot quicker thanks to The World Leader In Heavy Duty And High Performance Lubricants, Lucas Oil. For the new year, not only has Lucas Oil signed on as a big time supporter of SpeedFreaks but has also locked down the naming rights to the SpeedFreaks Studios. Yep, each and every Sunday night, screaming through your woofers, you will hear the Freakin' quartet live from the Lucas Oil Studios!
"Lucas Oil has been a supporter of motorsports for many years," says Forrest Lucas, President and CEO. "Our partnership with Kenny Sargent and SpeedFreaks is a natural progression in our marketing campaign because their show encompasses all racing series and allows Lucas Oil the opportunity to bring our products to their many listeners and fans. We look forward to an exciting racing season on board with SpeedFreaks!"
As part of the 2003 teaming of SpeedFreaks and Lucas Oil, the duo's first promotion together will be a Freaks Adventure (to put it mildly) to the NASCAR Trucks' Lucas Oil 250 race next month at Bakersfield's Mesa Marin Raceway. The hometown of hombre Buck Owens may never be the same after a visit from the Freak Nation.
"Just like SpeedFreaks proliferation into covering all forms of racing, you can't get out of a race track without seeing some type of Lucas Oil representation," says SpeedFreaks President and CEO, Kenny Sargent. "Man, this is going to be like Ted Turner's TBS Superstation before Forest and I are through with it. Lucas Oil has ties from Kenny Bernstein to tractor pulls. SpeedFreaks are on over 100 stations, the Armed Forces Network, Sirius Satellite radio and the Internet. Together, we will be everywhere."
One entity that Lucas Oils has a heavy presence is in NASCAR. Daytona starts crankin' up the volume this week, so SpeedFreaks brings to the Freak Nation some of the biggest names in Winston Cup. Sit downs and stand ups with Jimmie Johnson and Joe Nemechek plus a visit from the Winston Cup Budweiser Shootout winner. The Freaks are also planning to have the Three Amigos in the Lucas Oil Studios... '02 Winston Cup Champion Tony Stewart, '01 World Of Outlaws Champion Danny "The Dude" Lasoski and 3-Time NHRA Champion Gary Scelzi.
Also in the mix, the NHRA Budweiser Shootout winner and NASCAR Busch Series pilot Johnny Sauter.
Damn... got a respirator?
