Ford Expedition Becomes A ``Player'' at NBA All-Star Game Event; Stuff Magazine Teams with Leading Designers for the Players SST

BONSALL, Calif. & ATLANTA--Feb. 7, 2003--Stuff Magazine readers have a better idea when it comes to what they want in an automobile.
Unveiling the technology filled vehicle with Ford at the NBA All-Star Players Party, Stuff Magazine has teamed up with the market leading made-to-order, fast-to-market automobile developer, I.Q. Motors, for the all-new 2003 Ford Players SST Expedition.
Designed by Tony Loiacono, lead designer of the acclaimed SST Editions, this highly stylized and technology filled Players SST Expedition meets the desires of today's sophisticated SUV buyers.
"Over the last 3 years, we have worked closely with the auto industry's renowned suppliers and manufacturers. Now we've included the progressive readers of Stuff Magazine to bring the concept of the Players SST to fruition," said Tony Loiacono, CEO and founder of I.Q. Motors. "The same enthusiasm that NBA players bring to this weekend's NBA All-Star Game was employed by our design team with our partners. We will deliver a very sophisticated, modern and technologically advanced SUV to the consumers beginning in April."
The Players SST will be a limited edition 2003 Ford Expedition offered to meet the consumer's automobile dreams, while defining their individuality and personality. The SST will offer consumers an automobile that depicts a sense of style, offers state of the art sound and delivers cutting-edge technology that is reflective of society today and tomorrow.
"We wanted to participate in this project because we liked the idea of expressing our readers desires for technology in automotives," said Aric Webb, associate publisher of Stuff Magazine. "Our readers are into modern vehicles that provide the technology and style found in vehicles like the Players SST, and this seemed like a perfect way to share their passion with others."
Unlike "one off" customizations, the Players SST is a true limited edition SUV, all individually numbered, and will feature a personalized custom interior designed by Katzkin Leather and exterior components including distinctive Ford Accessory branding, state-of-the-art telematics and a one-of-a-kind Stuff Technology package.
Among the external features will be specially designed front end with upper and lower grill insert, rear deck spoiler, chrome tubular running bars, chrome rear taillight guards, 22-inch Dayton wheels and Toyo tires and a distinctive, but sophisticated graphics and identification package that reflects the uniqueness of the vehicle and its designer.
The interior will sport a two-toned decorative leather theme, with exclusive carbon fiber trimming by Katzkin. Additional features include the PlayStation 2, DVD, Internet, MP3, carbon fiber dash graphics and doorsill plate by Woodview plus Players SST logo.
The Players SST will be available for delivery through selected Ford dealers starting in April 2003. The limited edition vehicle will only be only slightly more than a fully-loaded factory Ford Expedition.
The advancements were selected from extensive polling of Stuff Magazine readers and integrated by the design team, in agreement with highest quality QS standards.
Loiacono, who played a key role in the development and marketing of the original Ford "Eddie Bauer" Bronco II in 1982-84, identified the need and conceptualized I.Q. Motors as a result of sensing an emerging trend in made-to-order, limited-edition, fast-to-market automobiles.
