Auburn, IN-Kruse International, the world's largest collector car auction company, announced plans today for the 1st Annual All No Reserve Collector Car Auction. The event, scheduled for November 1, 2003, will be held at the Kruse auction complex in Auburn, IN.

Dean Kruse, founder and CEO of Kruse International, said that the auction is a result of his plan to expand the number of events held at the Auburn site. In past years it has hosted two auctions per year: the Auburn Spring Motorfair in May and the Classic Car Auction and Show, held over Labor Day weekend.

"As a company, I don't think that we've fully capitalized on the facilities that we have here. That's one of the things I'm really working to change," Kruse said.

Since buying the company back from eBay in December 2002, Kruse has undertaken a $2 million expansion and refurbishment of the complex. Improvements include a new office, the addition of inside storage space for cars, connecting the two largest buildings, repairing the roofs, and installing 80 permanent toilets. The intended result is a complex that is suitable for use year-round.

"Because this is a no reserve auction, it's going to be a great opportunity for both serious collectors and for those who are just looking for a great deal on a vehicle. As an auctioneer, I'm looking forward to the challenge and excitement that the auction will provide," Kruse said.

The event is expected to draw 300 vehicles for the auction block.
