Modine's Lyman Tschanz To Speak at ProMat 2003

    RACINE, Wis.--Feb. 6, 2003--Modine Manufacturing Company announced today that Lyman Tschanz, general manager of its automotive division, is scheduled to speak at the ProMat Conference at McCormick Place North in Chicago, IL on Monday, February 10th.
    ProMat 2003 is a conference and showcase for material handling equipment, systems and technologies. An estimated 40,000 professionals from over 80 countries are expected to attend this year's conference. The conference is sponsored by the Material Handling Industry of America (MHIA), who has partnered with ARC Advisory Group to create an Executive Forum focused on material handling logistics. ARC Advisory Group is a leader in providing strategic planning and technology assessment services to leading manufacturing companies, utilities, and global logistics providers.
    At the Executive Forum, Tschanz will explain how Modine, and its suppliers, have developed an innovative and integrated system of assembly and material handling components for supply of engine-cooling modules for the Jeep(R) Liberty. Tschanz will focus his presentation on the details of the integrated systems and fool-proofed automation that Modine utilizes at its Toledo Assembly Plant in Ohio to deliver engine-cooling modules in exact build sequence to their customer. Modine's Toledo Assembly Plant is recognized, both internally and externally, as a benchmark for quality and performance for sequentially parts delivery.
