Get the Season Started with a Bang at Infineon Raceway¢s Open House Party
SONOMA, Calif. (IMMEDIATE RELEASE) ¯ Kick off the 2003 NASCAR Winston Cup season at Infineon Raceway¢s first-ever Open House Party on Saturday, Feb. 15, and get your chance for a *hot lap* around the road course. Admission is free.
The party begins at 9 a.m. with a live broadcast of the NASCAR Busch Grand National race from Daytona International Speedway on two big screen televisions. Root your favorite drivers on with hundreds of other race fans while watching the race from the Infineon Raceway Cafe. There will be complimentary coffee and donuts in the morning with racetrack staples like hamburgers, hot dogs and fries available in the afternoon for a nominal charge.
There will be a photo gallery, several car displays and track tours of the $50 million Modernization Plan. The day will also feature a full slate of road-course racing by the Jim Russell Racing Drivers School.
Fans will also get a chance to take a high-speed lap around the road course with a professional driver if they purchase a 2003 season ticket package that day. Hot laps will be available between 11-1 p.m., as dictated by breaks in the on-track racing action. The raceway will also be selling single-event tickets to all of its races on the 2003 schedule (does not include a hot lap).
Begin the 2003 motorsports season at full speed by heading to Infineon Raceway¢s Open House Party.
