XM Satellite Radio Enters Sponsorship of Chicago Auto Show Media Center
CHICAGO, Feb. 6 -- With a two-day media preview of the Chicago Auto Show plump with news of fresh products and executive availability; and the remainder of the Windy City's ten-day public show a lightning rod for print and broadcast journalists, XM Satellite Radio has entered into an agreement to assist local, national and international media in getting their jobs done more efficiently. The XM Satellite Radio Media Center will be located in Room S102B of Chicago's McCormick Place. "Participating at the nation's largest auto show provides great exposure for XM on a grand scale that can't be matched at any other location. We will be able to address both constituencies with tremendous efficiency." The 6,000 sq. ft. XM Satellite Radio Media Center will offer visiting media everything they need to get their jobs done with a working newsroom backdrop, including banks of computers, high speed Internet connections, business machines of every type and assistance from the staff of the 95th Chicago Auto Show. In addition, XM Satellite Radio will display its fast-growing technology to the public on the spacious show floor in Booth No. 31.
