Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada announces January sales

BRAMALEA, ON, Feb. 4, 2003; Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada sold 291 vehicles in January, down 16 per cent from the same period last year. Jaguar monthly sales totaled 167 units, with the S-TYPE range up 100 per cent from the same period last year. Land Rover accounted for 124 vehicles sold last month, with the new Range Rover up 417 per cent compared with the same period last year.

"Last year was one of tremendous growth and we are looking to continue with that momentum through 2003," said Vic Bernardini, president of Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover Canada. "The new Range Rover continues to do well in Canada and with the new 2004 XJ coming to retailers across the country this summer, we can expect Jaguar sales to climb."

Aston Martin Jaguar Land Rover North America reported January sales totaling 6,601 vehicles sold for the organization in the United States.
