Monster Racer's Group GT3 RS Porsche Brings Home An Historic Win At The Rolex 24 Hours Of Daytona

    DAYTONA, Fla.--Feb. 4, 2003--

Win Kicks Off The "Join The Winners" Campaign At Monster Cable

Spearheaded by Kevin Buckler of the Racer's Group, the Monster Porsche roared to victory today at Daytona for not only first spot in the GT class, but the overall race win! It's the first time in 26 years that a GT car has won both titles! 1977 was also the last time a 911-based Porsche took victory. "A truly Monsterous performance," says the Head Monster.
By making racing history in 2002 with wins in the Monster Porsche at both the 24 Hours of Daytona, and the Le Mans 24 Hours, Kevin is an inspiration to Monster retailers everywhere, showing them what's possible against heavy odds. Kevin Buckler, like Noel Lee, the Head Monster, started out with a dream. Their entrepreneurial visions were amazingly parallel as both powered their privately owned companies to the top of their fields. Both Noel and Kevin relied on a special formula of teamwork for success against their competitors.

Monster Cable has been one of the shining stars for the CE industry in 2002, leading its retailers into increased sales and profits by focusing on consumer benefits. And this year, the Head Monster and Kevin Buckler are taking the racing program to even greater heights with the motivational theme, "just put your head down, and drive."
