Nissan North America Reports January Sales
INFINITI HIGHLIGHTS
-Infiniti, the luxury division of NNA, saw its best January ever with sales of 7,693 units
-The 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan and G35 Sport Coupe, contributed most to the increase with total combined sales of 4,743 units
-The all new 2003 Infiniti FX45 SUV went on sale in late January and 326 units were sold
NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS
-Nissan-brand sales for January totaled 47,516 units, a 4.1 percent decrease from the previous January
-January marked the seventh straight record month for the Nissan Altima mid-size sedan with sales of 15,425 units, up 12.7 percent
NNA INFORMATION
-Combined January sales for Nissan and Infiniti totaled 55,209 units, a 1.2 percent increase versus last year
-Sales of NNA’s North American-produced vehicles for January totaled 33,037, representing 57.1 percent of all NNA vehicles sold in the United States
