Porsche Cars North America Reports January U.S. Sales
ATLANTA, Feb. 3 -- Porsche Cars North America, Inc., (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars in the United States, today announced U.S. retail sales for January totaled 1,345 cars, a decrease of 9 percent compared to the same period last year. "Sales are lower due to uncertainty in the economy," said Frederick J. Schwab, PCNA President and CEO. "Porsche's mid- and long-term outlook continues to be positive. We look forward to the arrival of the Porsche Cayenne at dealers, March 15." (In keeping with industry practice, PCNA will no longer differentiate between Tiptronic and manual transmission models in sales reporting.)
