Nissan North America Reports January Sales
GARDENA, Calif.--Feb. 3, 2003--Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) reported January total sales of 55,209 units for its Nissan and Infiniti divisions, a 1.2 percent increase versus January of last year.INFINITI HIGHLIGHTS
| -- | Infiniti, the luxury division of NNA, saw its best January ever with sales of 7,693 units |
| -- | The 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan and G35 Sport Coupe, contributed most to the increase with total combined sales of 4,743 units |
| -- | The all new 2003 Infiniti FX45 SUV went on sale in late January and 326 units were sold |
NISSAN HIGHLIGHTS
-- Nissan-brand sales for January totaled 47,516 units, a 4.1
percent decrease from the previous January
-- January marked the seventh straight record month for the
Nissan Altima mid-size sedan with sales of 15,425 units, up
12.7 percent

-- Combined January sales for Nissan and Infiniti totaled 55,209
units, a 1.2 percent increase versus last year
-- Sales of NNA's North American-produced vehicles for January
totaled 33,037, representing 57.1 percent of all NNA vehicles
sold in the United States
