puraDYN Appoints William A. Jacobs as Quality Manager

    BOYNTON BEACH, Fla.--Jan. 28, 2003--puraDYN Filter Technologies Inc. (AMEX:PFT), the global bypass oil filtration system company, today announced that William A. Jacobs has been appointed Quality Manager to achieve quality certification for the company.
    Kevin G. Kroger, puraDYN's President and Chief Operating Officer said, "It is with great pleasure that we welcome Bill to the company. We are confident that he will be a powerful driver for achieving quality certification for our factory located in Boynton Beach, FL. Bill's credentials bring him a high level of respect in the industry, allowing him to play a critical role in quality control.     Mr. Jacobs joins puraDYN from Motorola, Inc. where he held positions in Quality and Reliability, as well as Manufacturing and Development, for the last 19 years.
    A graduate of the University of Alabama, Mr. Jacobs holds a BS degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Applied Sciences.
