Metaldyne Wins Contract with Tier One Supplier for Exhaust Components



    PLYMOUTH, Mich., Jan. 28 -- Metaldyne today announced that is
has begun supplying exhaust components to Visteon Corporation for
late-2002 model year Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable vehicles.  The contract
calls for Metaldyne to supply the Y pipes, outlet pipes and inlet pipes for
the exhaust system.
    "We are pleased to be selected by Visteon to supply these components,"
said George Thanopoulos, Engine Group president.  "This further demonstrates
our commitment to supporting our customers with value-added solutions for a
broad range of engine requirements."
    The components will be manufactured at Metaldyne's Tubular Products
facility in Hamburg, Mich.
