United Defense Announces Executive Appointments
ARLINGTON, Va.--Jan. 27, 2003--United Defense Industries, Inc. today announced the appointment of a former commanding general, United States Army Forces Command, Jay Hendrix, as its Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, succeeding Dennis Wagner in that position.Hendrix brings 35 years of experience and insight into the needs of the company's domestic customers and will lead business development initiatives for the company. Hendrix retired from the Army in 2001.
Dennis Wagner, who has lead business development for the company during the past eight years, has been named Vice President and General Manager of International Division, succeeding Art Roberts who is retiring. A 21-year veteran of United Defense, Wagner will oversee all sales of the company's ground and amphibious vehicles outside the United States. He will also manage several international joint ventures and co-production programs.
