Viewpoint And MSN Autos Collaborate to Unveil the Volkswagen New Beetle Convertible in Online Media Pilot
NEW YORK--Jan. 23, 2003--Viewpoint Corporation , the world leader in interactive graphics, today announced its successful rich media pilot with the support of MSN(R) Autos and Volkswagen, which included an integrated Viewpoint and Windows Media Player online presentation to introduce the Volkswagen New Beetle convertible.The presentation is highlighted on the MSN Autos Channel, as part of their on-site coverage of the world famous 2003 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).
The pilot with MSN and Volkswagen includes a Viewpoint interactive 3D vehicle demonstration that is completely synchronized with the Windows Media Player video stream of the New Volkswagen Beetle unveiling from the 2003 NAIAS show floor. Users that visit the MSN Autos site can experience the presentation online, including the ability to rotate, zoom in and out, and highlight unique vehicle features and interior and exterior views through an easy-to-use control panel .
