Amerityre Introduces Its Flatfree(TM) Golf Car Tire at the PGA Merchandise Show
BOULDER CITY, Nev., Jan. 23 Amerityre Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: AMTY) introduced its Flatfree(TM) golf car tire at the 2003 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida. Some 50,000 industry professionals are expected to attend the PGA Merchandise Show, the world's largest golf trade show. The tire, which utilizes the Company's patented technology and specially formulated polyurethanes to create a "closed-air bubble" system, is intended for both OEM and aftermarket sales. It is estimated that approximately 1.25 million tires used on new golf cars are sold in the U.S. market each year and another 2.5 million replacement tires are sold in the after market. The Company will feature two versions: a higher load bearing "ribbed" tread tire, designed especially for commercial applications such as beverage and maintenance carts; and a softer, "turf friendly " tread tire, designed for general golf course environments. Based on independent test results, the Flatfree(TM) golf car tire outperformed a pneumatic rubber tire in load capabilities, durability and rolling resistance. Amerityre also manufactures Flatfree(TM) tires for bicycles, wheelbarrows, hand trucks, lawn and garden equipment and specialized equipment.
