Hertz Opens Five New Locations in New England

    PARK RIDGE, N.J., Jan. 22 The Hertz Corporation has opened
three new car rental facilities in Marlborough, Medford and Woburn,
Massachusetts and two new locations in North Kingstown and Warwick, Rhode
Island.
    The new locations provide Hertz customers with a full range of rental
vehicles including minivans and sport utility vehicles, as well as compact
through full-size cars.  The locations also offer pick-up and delivery
service, Hertz #1 Club Gold counter service and vehicles equipped with Hertz'
in-car global positioning system, NeverLost(R).  In addition, as with all
Hertz corporate locations, vehicles are available for rental with unlimited
mileage and all rate structures are honored, including one-way, inter-city
rates.
    Danny Havens, Hertz Division Vice President, New England Region commented,
"We are expanding our off-airport business, called Hertz Local Edition, in the
greater Boston area and in Rhode Island.  The new locations represent Hertz'
commitment to these local markets and our commitment to meet all of our
customers' rental needs, which include special insurance replacement rates."
    Each location is open Monday through Friday from 8 am through 6 pm and
Saturdays from 9 am to noon.  All of these car rental facilities are closed on
