Investment Manager to Hold eAutoclaims Common Stock
OLDSMAR, Fla., Jan. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The manager of the Canadian Advantage Limited Partnership and the Advantage (Bermuda) Fund Ltd., which collectively own 4.1 million shares of eAutoclaims (OTC Bulletin Board: EACC) common stock, said that he will continue to maintain the Funds' holdings. "I believe there is a future for the company," said John Pennington of Advantage Fund G.P. Limited, Mississauga, Ontario, which manages the two funds. "It would be premature to sell at this time," he said. Pennington said he reached this view after conducting his own preliminary due diligence and after visiting the company's headquarters in Oldsmar, Florida. Jeffrey Dickson, co-founder and Chairman of the company, said, "Obviously, we are optimistic about our company and the prospects for the industry we are creating; however, it's gratifying when the 'smart money' concurs with our beliefs. We believe that the funds managed by Mr. Pennington are attractive and important shareholders." Pennington's company replaced investment managers affiliated with Thomson Kernaghan, which ceased operations in 2002.
