Diaz Secure at Dorricott for '03

DORRICOTT RACING CONFIRMS THAT LUIS DIAZ IS SIGNED FOR
                    2003 TOYOTA ATLANTIC CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON

                TELECOMMUNICATIONS GIANT "TELMEX" CONTINUES
                               AS DORRICOTT RACING SPONSOR

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (Jan. 19, 2003) - Phyllis Dorricott confirmed
today that Dorricott Racing has re-signed second-year Dorricott Racing
driver Luis Diaz, of Mexico City, for the 2003 Toyota Atlantic
Championship. Dorricott Racing's entry for Díaz will again be sponsored by
Telmex, the most important telecommunications company in Latin America, and
one of the largest telecommunications corporations in the world.

"It feels great to know I will again be joined with Dorricott
Racing for the 2003 Toyota Atlantic Championship," said the 24-year-old
Díaz. "I think we're going to be as competitive or more so this season
particularly since I am working with a great engineer, Alain Clarinval ,
and I have a solid year of Atlantic racing under my belt. Dorricott Racing
should have a good opportunity compete for another Toyota Atlantic title
although I'm sure that this season's Atlantic Championship will be even
more competitive than last year."

Díaz also cited that much of his good fortune in returning to
Dorricott Racing was due to the confidence and support he has received from
Telmex.

"There is no question that Telmex has been very important in my
development as a professional driver," said Díaz. "Telmex's commitment to
motorsports and my career has allowed me to work with a first class team
like Dorricott Racing just like Telmex is a world leader in the
telecommunications industry."

The former Formula Mexico Champion and Mexican Formula 3 Rookie of
the Year finished fourth in the 2002 Toyota Atlantic Championship. He
earned two pole positions, including the season-opening pole at Monterrey,
Mexico, and fourth round pole at Portland. He also scored two victories at
Portland and Road America driving the Dorricott Racing-prepared
Telmex/Quaker State-sponsored Swift.

Díaz made his Champ Car career debut with Fernandez Racing at the
2002 CART season finale - the Gran Premio Telmex-Gigante - after Adrian
Fernandez was sidelined due to a fracture of the T2 vertebrae resulting
from a multi-car incident in Australia.

Fernandez Racing kicks off its pre-season testing program with Díaz
putting the #51 Tecate/Quaker State/Telmex machine through its initial
paces at Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Fla., on Monday, Jan.
20. Diaz will shake down the new Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone package to
be piloted by owner/driver Adrian Fernandez as the team prepares for the
start of the 2003 Bridgestone Presents the Champ Car World Series powered
by Ford.

"I couldn't be happier knowing that Luis is back with Dorricott
Racing," said Phyllis Dorricott. "He had such a good first year with us.
His Atlantic experience combined with the experience he has gained testing
a Champ car for Adrian Fernandez has helped make him a complete driver."

Clarinval rejoined Dorricott Racing this winter. His championship
history with Dorricott Racing dates back to his last stint with the team
when he was Chief Engineer for the 1999 PPG-Dayton Indy Lights champions
and current Champ Car and Patrick Racing driver Oriol Servia, of Pals,
Catalonia, Spain.

Dorricott Racing, the defending Toyota Atlantic champions, will be
entering its second year of Atlantic racing. A multi-car effort is still
planned with other drivers and sponsors be named at a later date.

Race results, team, and sponsor information are available on
Dorricott Racing's official web site, http://www.dorricottracing.com. The
2003 Toyota Atlantic Championship opens its season at the Monterrey Grand
Prix in Monterrey, Mexico, on Sunday, March 23, 2003.
