Johnson Controls Appoints Lynn Papalambros as Company's Vice President of DaimlerChrysler Business Unit - North America

PLYMOUTH, Mich., Jan. 15, 2003; Johnson Controls recently appointed Lynn Papalambros as vice president and general manager of the DaimlerChrysler Business Unit - North America at the company's Automotive Systems Group.

In this position, she is responsible for leading Johnson Controls' automotive interiors business for DaimlerChrysler in the North American region.

Prior to taking on her new position, Papalambros served as general manager of the company's General Motors Business Unit. Before that, she worked in a number of engineering and operations leadership positions at Johnson Controls, including managing director for trucks in the GM Business Unit; vehicle line executive, GM/Saturn Business Unit; director of engineering, DaimlerChrysler Business Unit; and director of engineering, GM/Saturn Business Unit. Papalambros joined Johnson Controls in 1987 as a senior project engineer.

Prior to joining Johnson Controls, she worked as a project engineer at General Motors' Detroit Diesel Allison Division for six years.

In 1988, Papalambros earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University. She also received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan in 1981. Papalambros resides in Ann Arbor.
