Eaton Will Supply Electronic Differentials for Future Chrysler Group Platform
SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--Jan. 15, 2003--Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today that its EGerodisc(TM) electronic differential will be used on the front and rear axles of a future Chrysler Group vehicle platform. Eaton electronically controlled differentials provide an enhanced level of traction on variable terrain and surfaces. EGerodisc(TM) differentials are fully controllable "active differentials." EGerodisc(TM) differentials may be integrated with ABS and stability control systems.
