Under the terms of the agreement, Technologue will provide Polk North America access to its Original Equipment Part Number and Application database for use in Polk's extensive suite of Aftermarket solutions and Polk will provide Technologue access to its U.S. Summary Level Vehicle In Operation (VIO) file for use in Technologue's webCAT system. In addition, Polk will possess the ability to sell Technologue's Original Equipment Part Number data as a stand alone product. "We are delighted to be able to offer this dynamic capability to our customers as well as to be partnering with Technologue, a high quality data provider." Nick Porrini, President of Technologue, Inc., stated, "We have all seen or heard the effects of poor product planning decisions -- there are warehouses full of them -- therefore, we are very pleased to have the opportunity to partner with R. L. Polk & Co. because today more then ever critical information brought about by our two companies is essential to compete in this demanding marketplace."
