WFS Financial to Webcast Analyst Conference Call on Fourth Quarter Earnings Results

    IRVINE, Calif.--Jan. 13, 2003--WFS Financial Inc will release its fourth quarter earnings results on Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003 after the Nasdaq stock exchange closes.
    Tom Wolfe, chief executive officer and Lee Whatcott, senior executive vice president and chief financial officer, will host a webcast conference call for analysts and investors at 9 a.m. (PDT) on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003.
    As part of this conference call, WFS management will discuss, at greater length, earnings results for the year and for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2002.
