Event: Race-to-Recycle Kick-off Event Date: January 16, 2003 Time: 11:30a - 1:30p Place: Grand Staircase, Massachusetts State House
On January 16, WasteCap of Massachusetts will kick-off the 2003 Race-to-Recycle at the Grand Staircase in the Massachusetts State House. This luncheon event will inaugurate the 8th annual Race-to-Recycle, a statewide competition that recognizes businesses for their leadership in recycling and waste reduction.

This event is free and open to the public. Come and take advantage of this excellent opportunity to meet and network with Race participants and organizers. Newcomers are welcome. This will be a great way to decide if the Race is right for your organization!
The Race-to-Recycle offers awards to hotels, institutions, manufacturers, office buildings, restaurants, retail stores, and other businesses. Through the year-long program, businesses save money, promote their business, conserve resources, and earn recognition.
The Race-to-Recycle is funded by a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and through corporate sponsorships from the American Forest and Paper Association, the National Electrical Manufacturers Association, E.L. Harvey & Sons, Fidelity Investments, UNICCO Service Company, and others.
