President Larry Denton to Leave Dow Automotive
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Jan. 8, 2003; Larry Denton, Dow Automotive
president, today announced he is leaving the organization, effective January
31. Denton has accepted a position as president and CEO of Dura Automotive
Systems, Inc., Rochester Hills, Michigan.
Denton joined Dow Automotive in 1996 as executive vice president, after 24
years with Ford Motor Company. He was named president in 1999 and has been
instrumental in Dow Automotive's significant business growth -- from $300
million in 1996 to more than $1.2 billion in 2002.
Dow management is currently reviewing options for filling the position.
The current Dow Automotive executive management team will continue to function
in its current capacity to ensure a smooth transition.
