SAE Detroit Section to Introduce 2004 Chrysler Pacifica at February 11 Meeting

DETROIT--Jan. 6, 2003--In 1983, Chrysler introduced the first minivan, then the PT Cruiser and now the all-new "sports tourer," the Pacifica. "Chrysler's objective from the start was to design a vehicle that didn't conform to the traditional proportions of a car, sport-utility vehicle or minivan, yet featured the best attribute of each," said Bill Rotramel, Senior Manager of Pacifica Vehicle Program Management. Bill Rotramel, along with Mike Donoughe, Vice President of the Family Vehicle Product Team, Chrysler Group and Tom Marinelli, Vice President, Chrysler Marketing will reveal the story of the Pacifica at the SAE Detroit Section's dinner meeting on Tuesday, February 11, 2003 at the San Marino Club in Troy.
The evening's social hour, sponsored by DaimlerChrysler, will begin at 5:30 pm, followed by dinner at 6:30 and presentation at 7:30. Tickets can be purchased for $35.00 each, $15.00 student members, through the SAE Detroit Section Office by calling 248-324-4445 or online at www.sae-detroit.org.
