Starcraft Corporation Names Michael H. Schoeffler, President and Chief Operating Officer

    GOSHEN, Ind.--Jan. 6, 2003--Starcraft Corporation announced today that Michael H. Schoeffler will return to the Company as its President and Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately.
    Mr. Schoeffler, age 42, served as the Company's President and COO from December 1996 until August 2001 when the Company's Bus and Mobility division was sold to Forest River, Inc. at which time he left to manage the Starcraft bus division for Forest River. He remained a member of the Starcraft Corporation Board of Directors.
    "Mike has been very dedicated to Starcraft and I am extremely pleased to have him return. His role is key to enhancing our OEM automotive supply market by executing our strategies of diversification and growth," said Kelly L. Rose, Chairman and CEO of Starcraft.
    In 1995, Schoeffler joined Starcraft as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary. Prior to joining Starcraft Corporation, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of General Products Corporation, an automotive parts supplier, from 1989 to 1995. From 1982 to 1986, he was a CPA with Ernst & Whinney.
    Schoeffler holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of Dayton and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland. He resides in Elkhart, Indiana with his wife, Vickie, and their three children.
