Busch Preview - Charlotte NC

Book Signing and Benefit at Busch Preview Show.

Jay Ahuja, author of Speed Dreams, will be signing first edition copies of his book during the Busch Series Preview, from 3 PM–7PM on Friday, January 17th, at the Charlotte Merchandise Mart. All proceeds from Jay’s book sales will be donated to the Busch Series Ladies Association. Also appearing at the Busch Preview will be Greg Biffle, Joe Nemechek, Kerry Earnhardt, Larry McReynolds, and a host of other racing celebrities.

New York Times racing writer Robert Lipsyte exclaims, "If you’re a smart gearhead, this is the book you won’t leave home without." Motorsports News writer, Mike Irwin, hails Speed Dreams as "invaluable to race fans whether they travel to lots of races, or just one." Art Taylor, with Metro magazine may have said it best…"this high-tech travel guide offers a one-stop resource for where to eat, where to stay, what to do, and how to get to celebrated NASCAR destinations."

The simple truth is, if you are going to a short track, road course, or superspeedway this season, you’ll have more fun if you bring along a copy of Speed Dreams: A Guide to All 23 NASCAR Tracks.

Over the past few Winston Cup seasons, Jay Ahuja traveled to every NASCAR/Winston Cup racetrack in the country to get a fan’s perspective of the best places to see a race. He shares what he learned about each track, as well as hundreds of local attractions, restaurants, nightclubs, and hotels in Winston Cup cities nationwide. The author interviewed drivers, crewmembers, media folks, track officials, tourism directors, and everyday fans, as he put together this 290-page guide, complete with photos of every track.

Speed Dreams, published by Kensington Books, provides must-have phone numbers and Web site addresses, and helps fans score the best seats while avoiding the worst traffic jams. This easy-to-use book doesn’t pull any punches when evaluating the good, the bad, and the ugly of every NASCAR Winston Cup track.

Speed Dreams is available at national book chains, independent bookstores, racing souvenir shops, and via the Internet. For additional information visit www.sportsfanguides.com.
