Porsche Cars North America Reports December U.S. Sales Down Year Up
ATLANTA, Jan. 3, 2003; Porsche Cars North America, Inc., (PCNA), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars in the United States, today announced U.S. retail sales for December totaled 1,339 cars, a decrease of 23 percent compared to the same period last year. At the same time, the company reported the strongest Porsche 911 sales in history for the calendar year, with sales up 6 percent over last year."This is the fourth straight year for record 911 sales," said Frederick J. Schwab, PCNA President and CEO. "Porsche's mid- and long-term outlook continues to be positive."
