ProMedia Publishing Seeks Associate Editor for Race
Pages Magazine, Fastest Street Magazine, TheFordMall.Com
ProMedia Publishing Group, LLC. consists of two strong automotive
racing-niche publications, Race Pages Magazine and Fastest Street
Car Magazine, as well as a sister division, ProMedia Events,
which produces 14 automotive racing events per year under the
NMRA Ford Series and PRO Street Legal series. As well, ProMedia Publishing
is developing an online publication, TheFordMall.Com
ProMedia Publishing seeks staff editor for our editorial products.
Staff Editor is an in-house editorial position based in ProMedia's
Southern California office. You MUST be located in Southern
California, or be willing to relocate, as this is in
an in-house position only.
As Staff Editor, you will be responsible for writing up to
25 pages of editorial content per month for the various ProMedia
publications, including supporting photography. You will
be available/required to attend approx. 6-8 national ProMedia
events from an editorial and event staff capacity. You will
contribute to the editorial focus of the magazine by developing
story themes. Staff Editor will assist with the production of the
magazine, including editing, assist with art direction/layout,
and proofing of all editorial/layout copy. Staff Editor will
contribute editorial to the online publications and official
event websites and will help manage the online content.
Staff Editor position requires extensive photography.
Previous photography experience is a plus, but can/will be
trained. Staff Editor must own his/her own camera, preferably
a high megapixel (3.0+) digital version.

Industry and Performance Automotive/Technical Matters
- Excellent Attention to Detail & Organization Skills
- Ability to balance multiple editorial projects and deadlines
- Basic computer & internet/e-mail knowledge
- Professional Appearance and Positive People Skills
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary provided is a base salary. There is a $1,000 hiring
bonus that is contingent on meeting deadlines for a period of
6 months. After that point, a year ending bonus program will be
implemented providing a $1,000 bonus for meeting performance
deadlines for the calendar year.
ProMedia Publishing offers limited health benefits,
paid vacation, and paid travel expenses. Compensation package
includes a base salary of $25,000.00-$30,000 per year,
depending on experience.
