Visteon Names Julie Fream Vice President of Marketing

DEARBORN, Mich., Dec. 18, 2002; Visteon Corporation today announced Julie Fream as its Vice President of Marketing, effective January 1, 2003. She will report to Michael Johnston, President and Chief Operating Officer.

Fream, who joined Visteon in 1998, will be responsible for strategic development and alignment of global product and customer marketing, advertising, marketing communications, market research, competitive research and analysis, and overall leadership of the global marketing teams.

"Julie has played a vital role in the growth and success of our business," said Johnston. "She is a strong leader and has effectively aligned the global marketing functions with our customer and product development organizations, which has been key to developing strong customer relationships."

Prior to her current position, Fream was Visteon's director of sales for Visteon's Ford account in North America. Before joining Visteon, she held sales and marketing positions at TRW; program management and product planning at Ford Motor Company; and engineering, sales and marketing positions at General Motors.

Fream holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University, and a master's degree in business administration from the Harvard Business School at Harvard University.
