Ft. Myers Lincoln Mercury Leads in Global Market

FORT MYERS, Fla.--Dec. 18, 2002--Ft. Myers Lincoln Mercury is on top of the world when it comes to selling the popular Lincoln Town Car, according to corporate sales reports. The Ft. Myers dealership, as of November 2002, has sold a hefty 340 Town Cars this year, which is more than any other dealership in the world. And those numbers could continue to rise as more consumers get a look at the completely redesigned 2003 Town Car, which has a little something for everyone.
Under the hood, the Town Car packs more power than ever before. The 2003 model is equipped with a refined 4.6-liter, 239-horsepower V8 engine. The vehicle's increased power is accompanied by a host of new high-tech safety features. The 2003 Town Car's power-assisted four-wheel disc Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) helps the driver maintain steering control by reducing wheel lockup during hard braking on most surfaces. The Personal Safety System(TM), one of the most comprehensive driver and front-passenger restraint systems, is designed to maximize the protection of front occupants while reducing the force of safety belts on the occupants' chests.
The 2003 Town Car also provides convenience and ease for older drivers, who have a history of loyalty to this particular vehicle. The new variable-assisted, rack-and-pinion system allows drivers the control and maneuverability they desire in different driving situations. Whether navigating the tight confines of a parking garage or backing into a parking space, maneuvering the Town Car requires little effort. Other features seniors are raving about are the plush heated seats and the auto-release trunk for easy loading and unloading of cargo.
Redesigned for more useable space and easier unloading and loading of cargo, the 2003 Town Car's trunk offers best-in-class space-at 21.0 cubic feet.
General Manager Phil Clemente, explains that "the new 2003 Town Car is a vehicle with instantly recognizable Lincoln Town Car origins" and describes the redesigned model as "formal, refined, and ultimately inviting...impressive yet subtle, the confident direction blends timeless Town Car styling cues with a reshaped hood, fenders and quarter panels."
Pricing starts at $41,040, but special, low financing is available for a limited time. For more information, visit http://www.lincolnvehicles.com.
In addition to the completely redesigned Town Car, Lincoln Mercury is rolling out a series of new models for 2003 that will transform Lincoln Mercury showrooms. Built on the "design DNA" of the very popular Navigator, the Lincoln Aviator has inherited the full-size power and luxury you've come to expect from Lincoln Navigator, without the full-size package.
